Update: Unfortunately, Aaron wasn’t able to make the show because of other commitments but we’ll certainly have him on in the future. We still dug into a lot of topics on this week’s show and I’m working on a great guest for next week.

Tuesday on Jack of All Sports, we’ll be talking to Maryland-based MMA fighter Aaron Riley, who faces fellow lightweight Ross Pearson at UFC 105 in Manchester, England in November. Riley sports a 2-1 record in the Octagon and trains with another Jack of All Sports guest, trainer Greg Jackson. Riley also teaches combat sports in the Maryland and Virginia area.

The interview begins live at 7:25 PM ET on ESPN 1300 AM. If you’re not in the Baltimore area, you can listen online live by heading over to ESPN1300.com and clicking on the large “Click Here” button in the center of the page. Listen to the broadcast to find out how to call in and join the conversation.

The interview with Riley is not the only MMA we’ll be discussing on this week’s show. We hope to get the MMA segment started around 7 PM ET and in addition to the Riley interview we’ll be discussing the controversial decision in the Lyoto Machida-Mauricio Rua light heavyweight title fight at UFC 104, Cain Velasquez’s victory over Ben Rothwell the same night, the news that Brock Lesnar is withdrawing from UFC 106 due to illness, and more. In addition, Emile and I will talk about our experience attending Maryland’s first MMA event this past weekend — Shogun Fights at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore.

So, tune in around 7 PM ET on Tuesday for some of the best MMA goodness on mainstream radio.
